Bug ID: 21178
Summary: add xmethod support for rust
Product: gdb
Version: HEAD
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: rust
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: tromey at sourceware dot org
Target Milestone: ---
Currently it's difficult to get an individual element from
a Vec in Rust. Example program:
fn main() {
let x = vec!(1,2,3,4);
println!("{}", x[2]);
}
(gdb) p x
$1 = Vec<i32>(len: 4, cap: 4) = {1, 2, 3, 4}
(gdb) p x[0]
Cannot subscript non-array type
Maybe xmethods or something similar could be added to the rust language code
in gdb.
