stack trace for spinning gdb.

Just started happening a few days ago. Not sure of any pattern that causes it.
After gdb stops on a breakpoint it will hang and spin a cpu. This causes my
eclipse cdt session to become inoperative.

I tried it with this gdb I built to solve another problem....
GNU gdb (GDB) 7.10.50.20160119-git

but it also happens with the stock gdb that comes with ubuntu 15.10...
GNU gdb (Ubuntu 7.10-1ubuntu2) 7.10


Anyway, I attached to the spinning gdb process and here's a stack trace. hope
it helps.
