GDB 7.1.2 for mingw seems to be the first GDB
executable for mingw32 that requires libexpat-1.dll.
Do you have this DLL in your path?
Try loading mingw32 libexpat DLL on:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files/MinGW%20expat/expat-2.0.1-1/libexpat-2.0.1-1-mingw32-dll-1.tar.gz/download
install it and report if this fixes your problem.
