Using the mi-mode, the '-symbol-type' command doesn't work. It returns the message:
^error, msg="Undefined mi command: symbol-type (missing implementation)"
It's not the only function which doesn't work, maybe even all functions
described here
(http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-4-Manual/gdb/gdb-mi-symbol-query.html)
seems not te be implemented at all.
Using 'ptype ...' in normal gdb works perfectly fine.
Tested with several versions, among them gdb in F11.
