Errr, of course nobody forgot to apply the code patch. You must be refering
to the docs on the website here
<http://sourceware.org/gdb/current/onlinedocs/gdb_toc.html>. Those document the
current state of GDB in CVS, not the
latest release.
Follow the "latest release" link at http://sourceware.org/gdb/documentation/
for 6.8's docs. There's no "find" there.
