Here is some additional info that might help:
1. The problem only occours when I try to attach an already running process.
a local debug works fine.
2. the problem occurs with every version of gdb (5.2.1, 6.0, 6.2, 6.3) that
I tried. On solaris and win2K the problem doesn't occour (also tested a
couple of gdb versions).
3. I get the same error if I use the step instruction mode. Means , whatever
d do to step oon in the programm, it crashes immediatly.
4. I can list the sources, check variables and so on pretty fine.
Any idea ??
Greets,
Mario
