It looks like this defect is due to old as/ld, should we close it? I
tried to reproduce it with the code that Reva Cuthbertson gave on an
IA64 Linux system using the system as/ld (2.14.90.0.4 20030523) and gdb
(5.3.90-0.20030710.40rh) as well as an as/ld 2.14, pre-release GCC 3.4
and gdb 6.0 that I built. I did not get any messages about
"DW_FORM_strp pointing outside of .debug_str section".
