There is no well defined mechanism for determining that a specific ``Z'' packet variant is or is not supported.
The mechanims currently rely on having a valid breakpoint value to probe with. Having a separate ``will this work at all'' mechanism should be defined.
One possability is ``Z<num'' without the arguments.
