Done. I noticed that when I run autoreconf, I see unrelated changes. What I did was to run autoreconf before my changes as well as afterwards. Then I dropped the patch for the first autoconf. When I moved the linux/perf_event.h header check, I simply edited the configure file since the changes were obvious. Regards, Markus.
