Eli, Joseph,
I can confirm that using the default texinfo.tex (by just leaving
src/texinfo out of the search path) successfully generates PostScript
under FC9 Linux.
I supplied the EPS diagram for the GDB Internal Manual with the file
name using a hyphen. It needs to use an underscore to work correctly.
The separate issue that "make ps" does not work from the top level
remains.
I will log this in Bugzilla.
