I mean GDB parser was able to parse a expression like

(gdb) p (struct Something*) pointer

but not something like

(gdb) p (std::list<int> *) pointer

Does it work if you quote the problematic parts, like this:


(gdb) p ('std::list<int>' *) pointer

?


I saw a trick like this somewhere, but sadly it doesn't work for me.
