The patch works. My hardware specific part of the driver now uses:
requires CYGNUM_DEVS_ETH_SMSC_LAN91CXX_INT_PRIO >= 0
requires CYGNUM_DEVS_ETH_SMSC_LAN91CXX_INT_PRIO <= 7
in order to ensure that the value is in the allowed range from 0-7 for
EDOSK-2674 interrupts.
