- Subject: [ECOS] eCos Wifi/WPA support
It appears that there are still no eCos drivers for Wifi
devices (either free or from eCosCentric). I'm trying to
figure out what sort of effort would be required to support an
802.11/bg device (including WPA). That's a bit open-ended, so
I'll try to break it up into more specific questions:
1) Ignoring WPA/WEP, is writing a driver for a Wifi interface
comparable to writing a driver for a 10/100 Ethernet
interface?
2) Any comments on the additional work required to support
WEP/WPA?
