- Subject: [ECOS] What address will Redboot load the ecos ?
Hi,
I built the redboot.elf with settings as Template <i386 PC target>
Package<redboot> redboot_GRUB.ecm StartupType=GRUB. I updated menu.lst
and restarted my PC, It works fine, I get the Redboot> command prompt
at startup.
Then, I built the ecos tests with Template<i386 PC Target>
Package<default> StartupType=RAM. It generated some tests. I picked
stdiooutput to test.
Redboot> load -m disk hda2:/boot/stdiooutput
I did not find any error message, but the cosole locks, can't accept key.
I rebuilt ecos tests by changing the StartupType=GRUB. The tests work
fine from GRUB menu.(NOT using Redboot)
Here is my question...
Why the tests are NOT working from Redboot> prompt ?
What address will Redboot load the ecos tests ?
My doubt is that ecos tests have been overwritten on Redboot code
which is causing Reboot to stall.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance
Surendra
