confitool problems with Cygwin

Good Day, I installed ecos2.0 using the
ecos.sourceware.org/pub/ecos/ecos-install.tcl.
The configtool launches but disappears, I can see the error "This
package does not have any valid subversion directories". I searched the
mailing lists and saw references to potential problems, has there been
any resolution?
