DHCP is well tested and known to work, so it must be something
with your setup.
* What's your target?
* Have you turned on network debug in your eCos client to see if
perhaps the reply _is_ being received, but not accepted?
* eCos 1.0 did not support DHCP (IIRC) - what were you using before?
