ixp425 based board and RAM image type

Hi,

We have been able to get a ROM based image up on our custom board
(which is very close to ixdpo board, only change is sdram size) ..

Only file we had to touch to get ROM image working was ixdp425.h as
advised in the customizing redboot guide ..

But, when we did a 
rm -rf build/*

and did a compile with RAM as .ecm, 
the image generated is not coming up .. blank screen ..

could someone give some ideas on where to start .. any other file we
had to change ??
