- Subject: [ECOS] NTLM proxy authentication failure in ecos-install.tcl
Hi all -
I have been trying to install ecos, but my company uses websense as a proxy
server, and it uses NTLM challenge-response authentication. I have tried
using the shell script's proxy server setup, specifying both the
proxy-server:portID and the username/password. I know that ftp is blocked,
but I selected an HTTP mirror, so I thought that should resolve that
particular issue. Here is the error that I get:
*** wget returned error. Last five lines of wget output:
Resolving "server"... x.x.x.x
Connecting to server[x.x.x.x]:80... connected.
Proxy request sent, awaiting response... 407 Proxy authentication required
16:47:02 ERROR 407: Proxy authentication required.
I know that I have given the correct proxy username and password, as I use
it for other programs, such as Messenger, etc.
Any idears?
Thanks in Advance,
Paul Ourada
