- Subject: [ECOS] where prtntf dumps while using multi-ice-gdb-server ?
I am having multi-ice setup ready with ARM Integrator
board with ARM920t as core module. I have built
multi-ice-gdb-server and I am able to debug the source
code using arm-elf-gdb. But I am not able to see
printf or diag_printf messages. Can somebody tell me
where printf will be dumping output in this case? My
serial 1 seems to be occupied by bootmonitor. I am
able to see messages dumped by bootmonitor on serial 1
but not pritnf messages. I have tried to change
CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_CONSOLE_CHANNEL_DEFAULT to 1 but
did not receive printfs on serial 2 also. My code
stucks at any printf or diag_printf.
[ I have not enabled
CYGHWR_HAL_ARM_ICE_THREAD_SUPPORT. Enabling this
complicates things severely. I can look into this
later but getting printfs is more important. I found
some similar mails on mailing list but could not find
any answer.]
Regards
Rakesh
