- Subject: [ECOS] HAL PPC ???
Hello eCos fans !
Well, I would like to know what is the way eCos akes to boot under a MBX
board.
So I study the HAL description and files. I found the mbx.S and its
definition of
the function hal_hardware_init.
Is it the first file loaded ? I don't think so because it start with a "if
0" ...
If someone could help me ... for exemple with a boot tree .
Another question : how works the psim ?
Where are included the simulation of the ppc : during the compilation of
eCos for
the psim target or during the debug step with gdb ?
If it's in gdb, it means that gdb (powerpc-eabi-gdb) include this sim aspect
no ? because
we only defined some memory stuff with your ".gdbinit" no ?
Thanks a lot.
