I did not understand your answer regarding the version name. I have the
Xscale processor's reference code that the version name as v1_24.

Here is the absolute path name.

\Xscale\redBootMon\redboot-src\packages\redboot\v1_24\src

Please provide me more details as what is wrong?

Thats an interesting version name. This suggests the sources are not
from source.redhat.com, but from somewhere else. It could be whoever
supplied you this version of eCos has messed up the linker script.
