Any particular reason you want a minimal linux setup? Its not that you
are short of memory!

Try:    

lunn@cobra:~/lhome/temp$ ecosconfig check
Target: linux
Template: kernel
Added:
 CYGPKG_LIBC_STDLIB
 CYGPKG_LIBC_STRING
 CYGPKG_LIBC_I18N
No conflicts
