- Subject: [ECOS] jffs2 ram requirements
Hi,
is there a worst-case estimate of the amount of ram required to run JFFS2? I
guess
it will need at least one buffer the size of one erase block of the flash
chip used.
Looking at the source code I saw that it uses malloc() and free() in various
places,
so I suppose it's not possible to use static RAM buffers set aside for
exclusive
use by JFFS2 and get rid of that heap management stuff?
