eCos and 405GP, USB

Hello All,
I would like to use eCos on IBM walnut board which has 405GP.
Looking through the archive, it looks like the OS has some support for 405GP.
From what I found, it said it has HAL for 405GP. What else do I need to
support the processor/platform?
Also, how good is the USB slave support in this OS? In particular, I'm
interested in getting CY7C68001 to work.
Any help/pointer will be appreciated.
