compact flash - slightly off topic

Subject: [ECOS] compact flash - slightly off topic
Organization: Silicon Motorsports

I need a large, removable, data store.  I can get compact flash up to 512MB.
Can anyone recommend a host interface chip or even a full CF board to
interface to an ARM-based processor?

Also, what filesystems are people generally using for these devices w/ eCos?
I don't need journalling (although it might be nice).
