that works only on older versions.

buffer to be displayed and edited in place. This is extremely
useful for 'fconfig', now that better line editing functions are
supported.
Anybody experiencing this behaviour?

Line editing command are not working
( ctrl-N, ctrl-P, ctrl-A, ctrl-E ) as
they should (displaying ^N, ^P, ...)
