Does this configuration include GDB stubs itself (i.e.
CYGDBG_HAL_DEBUG_GDB_INCLUDE_STUBS ) ? It shouldn't by default, but I'm
just checking.
Can you try disabling CYGDBG_HAL_DEBUG_GDB_CTRLC_SUPPORT and rebuilding the
eCos configuration (and relinking your app)?
