Folks, Init_net doesn’t return,
preventing my application from running.
(PING_TEST.C) My first thought is that when my device driver starts, its running at
too high a priority level to let the init_net
function finish. CPU loading may also be an issue.
This is running on an EP7211 slowed to 18Mhz
for CS8900A Ethernet compatibility.
The driver I’m bringing up is a Wavelan
Orinoco hanging off of the PCMCIA port.
GDB is running via Reboot through the Ethernet port and looks a little
chatty (to me…) Network based calls do seem to be (sporadically) taking place on the
target system. Various packets are
being sent and received by the Wavelan driver. I just noticed that the HW address looks
a little suspect. Does anyone have any ideas one what I might try next? Douglas Bush |
