hi,
I try to add redboot to my ep7211 board.
I follow the instrution from ecos as below:
1.building arm-elf-gcc etc.gnu tools chain
2.building ecosconfig
3 building redboot
. get ecos sources from cvs server
. mkdir ecos/tmp
. cd tmp
. export PATH <add path of gnutools and ECOS_REPOSITORY>
. ecosconfig new edb7211 redboot
. ecosconfig import ${ECOS_REPOSITORY}/hal/arm/current/misc/edb7211_redhat_ROM.ecm
. ecosconfig tree
. make
. get binary in tmp/install redboot.bin redboot.img redboot.srec redboot.elf
. have a question which file user to download to board ?
. try redboot.srec
./dl_ebd7xxx redboot.srec 38400 /dev/ttyS0 prompt success!
. boot board ,I can see nothing in lcd screen. And I tried minicom in my linux box ,
also nothing
. try other file ,I can see nothing in screen too.
what happen ! thank you
Best Regards
