My guess is that you have only done a partial install and are missing
some RPM's related to software development. These will have to be
added to your system. Under RH7 the termcap library is provided by the
libtermcap-devel RPM. The curses library is provided by ncurses-devel.
I would expect RH6.2 to involve the same RPMs albeit older versions,
but do not have a 6.2 machine handy right now to verify this.
