Yes, I have successfully ported ecos to a MIPS R3000 core.
You can start from tx39, there are only a few lines to change.
You have to rebuild a compiler chain, configured to R3000 (because
tx39 has a new intructions used by gcc, and this behavior couldn't be
disabled).
