Dear Smith,

I'm a beginner with DocBook.

To install I used DocBook Install mini-HOWTO
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/DocBook-Install/
and
DocBook-OpenJade-SGML-XML-HOWTO
http://tldp.org/HOWTO/DocBook-OpenJade-SGML-XML-HOWTO/index.html
With this guide I downloaded the files without problems.

I think the LDP-Author-Guide is another good source of information.

I'm still having some troubles to use ldp.dsl. But it works with docbook.dsl
