I'm sorry to bother you guys again, but I can't get [open]jade to
work. Here's test.xml, the XML source file that I'm processing:
<!DOCTYPE article
PUBLIC "-//Norman Walsh//DTD Simplified DocBook XML
V4.0.1//EN">
<article><title>Article Title</title>
<para>Paragraph.</para>
<para>Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. </para>
<para>Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. </para>
<para>Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. </para>
<para>Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. </para>
<para>Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. </para>
<para>Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. Bela. </para>
</article>
The output of:
jade -t tex -d /usr/local/sgml/dsssl/docbook/print/docbook.dsl test.xml
where docbook.dsl is the DSSSL stylesheets for DocBook taken from
Norman's web site (http://nwalsh.com/docbook/dsssl/db154.zip)
is the following:
openjade:/usr/local/sgml/sdb401/sdocbook.dtd:232:19:E: "X00E1" is not
a function name
openjade:/usr/local/sgml/sdb401/sdocbook.dtd:233:19:E: "X00C1" is not
a function name
[...]
openjade:/usr/local/sgml/sdb401/ent/iso-lat1.ent:6:19:E: "X00E1" is
not a function name
openjade:/usr/local/sgml/sdb401/ent/iso-lat1.ent:7:19:E: "X00C1" is
not a function name
[...]
openjade:/usr/local/sgml/dsssl/docbook/print/../common/dbl1ja.dsl:369:26:E:
unknown character name "U-524D\U-306E\U-30DA\U-30FC\U-30B8"
openjade:/usr/local/sgml/dsssl/docbook/print/../common/dbl1ja.dsl:378:26:E:
unknown character name "U-6B21\U-306E\U-30DA\U-30FC\U-30B8"
jade and openjade give the same results.
A few days ago someone wrote on this list that you need to be a geek
to get these tools working; now I'm thinking that one needs to be a
more of a high nerd!
Thanks in advance,
-Arrigo
