empty last page on PDF output

Does anybody know the reason why I get an empty last page (no text,
no page numbers, etc.) in PDF output using DocBook DSSSL stylesheets
1.53 and jadetex (the other pages contain the whole text, it's simply
an additional empty page)?
Even better would be a workaround...
