RE: [docbook-apps] Nomenclature question from newbie

Hi Steve,

Thank you very much for this. Much appreciated from newbies like me who are
not used to command lines!!

I did try a test but I couldn't get it to work yet. In the messages box it
indicates that there was an error in compiling the stylesheet. Just to make
sure I got it right, to get html output I have to locate the docbook.xsl
file in the html directory. I also couldn't add parameters, but I am
assuming that is because it couldn't load the stylesheet.

I was using the following:
-DocBook XSL Stylesheet (tried both 1.64 and 1.65).
-Stylesheet Path:
file://C:/studies/docbook-xsl-1.64.1/html/docbook.xsl
-DocBook DTD (4.3 and 4.4b1)
-tkxsltproc-1.3
-Error Message: error compiling stylesheet

I also tried the following setup:
-DocBook XSL Stylesheet (tried both 1.64 and 1.65).
-Stylesheet Path:
file://C:/studies/docbook-xsl-1.64.1/html/docbook.xsl
-DocBook DTD (tried 4.3 and 4.4b1)
-tkxsltproc-1.1
-Error Message: Gave me many of these same type of errors:
compilation error: file
file://C:/studies/docbook-xsl-1.64.1/html/docbook.xsl element include
xsl:include : unable to load file://C/studies/docbook-xsl-1.64.1/VERSION

If I could get this working I will apply you for a Nobel Prize!!

There is a GUI version of xsltproc, tkxsltproc, which will save you the
trouble of having to type long command line entries.  The
almost-ready-to-be-released version 1.4 can process DocBook
stylesheets.

this application.  I'll get the Windows release of 1.4 up on the
SourceForge site ASAP (in the meantime, contact me if you would like a
preview).
