[docbook-apps] How to get screen shots of cursors?

- Subject: [docbook-apps] How to get screen shots of cursors?
For a document I'm writing, I need graphics of all the cursors
available under the X Window system. Unfortunately, although
it's easy for me to display an arbitrary cursor, all the methods
of screen capture that I know of take pains to omit the cursor
from the image captured.
I found a file that seems to be definitions of all the cursors
in .pfa format:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/cursor.pfa
but I have no idea how to get from .pfa format to anything that
I can display in DocBook.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
