I am pleased to announce the availability of the "Debian GNU/Linux
Anwenderhandbuch" of Frank Ronneburg, which is another success story
for DocBook XML.
The author maintains the source of this book in DocBook XML and I provided
a customization for the DB2LaTeX XSL stylesheets (http://db2latex.sf.net)
to generate high quality PDF output which was used directly by the printing
house to print the paper version. The book is available at Lehmanns bookshops
in Germany (ISBN: 3936427216).
There is still much room for improvements and I'm pretty sure the next edition
(which hopefully will be pulished next year) will get even better.
