[docbook-apps] Re: [docbook] XML Editors

Is anyone using jEdit with DocBook? Could you share your

jEdit is a free editor implemented in Java. Some users say
that it is the editor that convinced them to leave Emacs.

I'm still Emacs user. My experience is that jEdit sometimes offers in context menu more elements then DTD allows. And it also doesn't have such a vast amount for keyboard shortcuts for navigating through XML strucure and for editing it (killing element, killing just markup, rename element).

But jEdit is on a good way, but XML plugin needs some improvements IMHO. Nice thing is that jEdit supports catalog files, so you can work with your document off-line.
