The only thing in
	/usr/share/doc/passivetex-1.12/
on RedHat 8.0, is an index.html which seems to be about the same as
the official PassiveTeX home page.

These reside in /usr/share/texmf/web2c/ on RedHat 8.0, which makes
them less inviting for editing.

Ie. my thoughts went like this:
 - If it's not in /etc/ it doesn't look like it's meant to be tampered
   with...?
 - What's texmf? "TeX MetaFont"? What does that have to do with
   PassiveTeX?
 - What does web2c have to do with this? Would I need to recompile
   TeX for this to work?

Which in sum made me decide not to try to tamper with anything. :-)
