Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: Goal and Conclusion Tags
: Hi list,
: I used to work with a DTD developed at my university that offers the
: possibility to start each chapter with a 'goal' ('What you will
: learn')
: and end it with a 'conclusion' ('What you learned'). This is very
: important for my style of writing and many of my readers praised me
: for
: this structuring.
: I am now translating my documents into docbook and didn't find
: anything
: similiar to this. Which tags should I use for this?

hello,
i use similar structures in my chapters, but i don't see a need for special
tags for these. i divide my chapters in sections (<sect1>) and use the
according titles. you can easily divide these sections into further sections
(<sect2>,...).
