Uhm, I never close reports without making at least a short comment.
Mike Smith reported recently that there seems to be a SF bug that
sometimes drops the comments (grrrr).

Ah, but I take back what I just said. I did close a bunch of requests
that were made by "nobody" (user not logged in). It's too hard to deal
with reports when I can't contact the submitter.
You aren't supposed to be able to file requests if you aren't logged
in, but there seems to be a SF bug there, too (double-grrrr).
