- Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: modifying the ouput of docbook sections usingdocbook-xsl-1.49 an d fop-0.20.3
Hi,
I
am using docbook-xsl-1.49 and fop-0.20.3 to produce PDFs. I was wondering if anyone has
experience with extending the "fo" portion of docbook-xsl to
cause
section elements to not be split over multiple pages and to cause section elements to
begin new pages.
I have a document of
5 Chapters each chapter has a sect1 and multiple sect2 each with sect3s and
sect4s nested below. I would like sect1, sect2, sect3 to begin on new pages and I
would like sect4 not to be split over multiple pages. This would greatly enhance
the readability of the my document. Since I don't intend to print this doc very
often I am more interested in readability than size.
I believe that I
need to overide sections.xsl in the /fo dir but I would appreciate advise
from anyone who has tried this or has another strategy for acomplishing
it.
Thanks
Paul
