That's just not possible. The stylesheets change much more quickly
than the DTDs and the stylesheets apply to a wide spectrum of DTDs
(DocBook 3.*, 4.*, 5.*, etc. as well as derivatives like simplified
DocBook).

There's "role" as well as a wide range of other common attributes, but
what sort of control are you looking for?
