Totaly aggreed, but for the sake of simplicity, let's not make this HOWTO a complete rewrite of the Hg manual. Once the user grasps the basics, he/she will be able to do trickier stuff. And people are now used to the kernel-style of mail-patches, with the now traditional 0/N .. N/N terminology. Hopefully they are! ;-) Let's keep it that way because this is exactly what the end user will see the first time he/she sends a patch series, with --outgoing. Except that in my proposed rewrite, --outgoing is no longer explained: ---8<--- The flag --outgoing selects all patches fromn the series that are currently applied.
