Arguably it is! ;-) populate is here to complete the rootfs with libraries from the toolchain. Noone better than crosstool-NG knows where to copy such libraries from, and thus it is the responsibility of crosstool-NG to provide a utility to retrieve those libraries. Regards, Yann E.
