What for? I've got toolchains for different targets, with various compilers
or binutils or C libraries, and I surely don't want all of them to have
a shared sys-root!

As for commands, we could add a kind of "directory to put aliases in" option.
A good place for that directory to be is /usr/bin, which seems to be what you
want. But that would imply building the toolchain as root, which is definetly
a Really Bad Idea! Better to add the target's bin directory in the PATH.
