Are you trying to make a static toolchain, or static binaries for the development card? -----Original Message----- From: crossgcc-owner@sourceware.org [mailto:crossgcc-owner@sourceware.org] On Behalf Of Adrian Lauf Sent: Monday, March 19, 2007 7:22 AM To: crossgcc@sourceware.org Subject: static builds on ARM problem: LDFLAGS Hi, Sorry to ask a relatively simple question such as this, but when I attempt to run a creation script with the added functionality specified by BINUTILS_EXTRA_CONFIG="LDFLAGS=-all-static" GCC_EXTRA_CONFIG="LDFLAGS=-static" under language support, I have changed it to "c,c++,java" my build fails, citing "configure: error: can only configure for one host and one target at a time". I am building for ARM-unknown (arm.dat) and basically using demo-arm.sh script adding only the above variables. Using 4.1.1 libs (I think) Can anyone please provide some help for this problem? I must statically link binaries, as the SD card interface for my dev board is extremely buggy and cannot support the gcj libraries that I need to run otherwise.
