Re: working toolchain for ARM9?

gcc-3.4.3

from crosstool-0.35 as the buildlogs look quite good.

Any reason why I should update from gcc-3.3.3-glibc-2.3.3-linux-2.6.11.2?

Well, there's the obvious optimistic one: assuming gcc-4.1 really will be the bee's knees, you might want to build with gcc-3.4.x or gcc-4.0.x to start weeding out compatibility problems early.

And then there's the obvious altruistic one:
you might want to start building with gcc-4.1 snapshots
and feeding bug reports back to the gcc developers
to help make sure gcc-4.1 really *will* be the bee's knees.
