Let's divide and conquor here. Can you set aside ptxdist and your past work for a moment, and simply try building the combination with plain vanilla crosstool-0.32?
I'm trying this now, but note that crosstool-0.32 does not come with a configuration file for this combination (GCC/3.4.3, GLIBC/2.3.5).
Looks like it does to me: http://kegel.com/crosstool/crosstool-0.32/gcc-3.4.3-glibc-2.3.5.dat
Are you quite sure you're using crosstool-0.32? Your earlier messages continually confused crosstool-0.28 and crosstool-0.32, e.g. your patch to "add crosstool-0.32 support to ptxdist" did this:
-CROSSTOOL_VERSION = 0.28-rc37 +CROSSTOOL_VERSION = 0.28
which is obviously incorrect. - Dan
