You'll never know until you try :-)

Just trying to find the "most stable" soft-float arm toolchain.  Can revert back
to gcc-3.4.2 if that would be better.


Actually, gcc-4.0 is worth a shot.  They're almost at prerelease,
and I seem to recall they've reworked vfp / softfloat for arm.
